I & E is pleased to share that as we return to normal operations, we’ve expanded our team with the addition of two new customer service representatives: Sydney and Lisa. They joined us at the beginning of November 2023 and are eager to assist you with any service issues you may encounter. Ida Caponegro CISR
Ida Caponegro is a Certified CISR® and Commercial Property Insurance Specialist, a 40+ year veteran of the Insurance industry licensed in Property, Casualty, Life and Health Insurance. Ida runs the Commercial Department focusing on working with small and large business on their General Liability, Property and Worker’s Compensation Insurance. Ida served clients at several large NYC Insurance companies including Saint Paul Companies (div. of Travelers) and Frank Crystal & Co., managing average premiums from $50,000 to over $600,000. Ida & her business partner Ernie live in Point Pleasant. Their 3 sons -Ernest 35, Matthew 31 and Luke 25. also Ocean County Home owners live localy.
Ernest M. Caponegro CLCS, CSA®
Ernest M. Caponegro CLCS, CSA®, has over 40 years’ experience as a Licensed Insurance Broker and Registered Investment Advisor. Securities Licenses include Series: 3, 4, 6,7,8,24,53, 65,66. Mr. Caponegro is a Registered Securities, Options and MSRB Principal. Mr. Caponegro began his career on Wall Street with E.F. Hutton in 1977 in the Investment Banking Department and thereafter as a Stock & Insurance Broker, Money Manager and Branch Manager for Shearson-Lehman and Prudential-Bache. Mr. Caponegro was an Investment Banking/Managing Director of two small Independent Wall Street Investment Banking firms during the 1990s. Mr. Caponegro ran as a candidate for the Hudson County Surrogate Office in 1992, and in 1994 for a NJ State Congressional seat. Ernest served as treasurer for Jersey City UNICCO from 1993-1998.
Ernest is a Certified Senior Advisor, completed the 15-part program of study of the physical, financial, emotional and personal issues affecting the daily lives of seniors taught by the Society of Certified Senior Advisors (SCSA). The SCSA is the World’s largest member organization training professionals to serve the changing needs of a growing senior population.
Mr. Caponegro has earned the Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS) certification. Students earning the CLCS designation have demonstrated extensive knowledge in the critical functional area of property and casualty insurance practice having completed the two-phased program offered through the National Underwriter Company and The Hartford School of Insurance.
Mr. Caponegro has coached several local Soccer and football teams and was an Assistant Boy Scout Leader with Troop 6 of Point Pleasant Beach and has been a member of the Brick Town Police Athletic League (PAL) Board of Directors for 20 years. The PAL’s mission is to improve the lives of local children. Ernie is a member of the Knights of Columbus of Saint Martha’s Church Point Pleasant, a Catholic Fraternal organization engaged in charitable endeavors. Ernest is also a Trustee of the Positive Earth Drivers Club, a Classic British Car Club in Farmingdale NJ with over 200 members, and Past VP of The Fathers Club of CBA, Christian Brothers Academy of Lincroft NJ, a Catholic High School where his youngest son graduated in 2018
